Very very self-indulgent comic in which Gilbert holds on to old grudges. Some of you might know that Lederhosen are a traditional garment from Bavaria, a state in the south-east of Germany.
Bavaria and Prussia meanwhile were rather hostile towards one another, with Bavarians refering to Prussians as “Saupreiß” (in singular) or “Saupreissen” (in plural), which essentially means “Pig Prussian”. Gilbert would thus likely not be the biggest fan of either Oktoberfest or Lederhosen, given that both of these things are definitely Bavarian…! I am happy to see though that more people in the fandom seem to be catching on to that.

Fun fact, since the northern half of Germany has been under strong Prussian influence, it’s a bit of a joke nowadays that everyone above Bavaria is Prussian.
